We thank James Cathcart for his Daily Worship week and welcome John Povey who continues our September theme What's New In Galatians? beginning Sunday 22 September.
Retired in 2021 after 40 years as parish minister in Kirk of Calder, Mid Calder John is now engaged in occasional pulpit supply, and some writing and research. Hobbies include baking and cooking, travel, the theatre, reading, and, of course, time with the grandchildren.
This week we think about freedom from and freedom for. Despite Paul's words being ancient is there something new here our society needs to hear? About Christianity as offering true freedom, true adventure, true living?
This week John writes about running, communication and standing firm.
