Playwright and performer Stephen Callaghan returns to the Fringe with his stage adaptation offering a modern energetic twist on the original, without ever compromising the integrity of the tale. Infused with his signature brand of Glasgow humour, Oggie! Oggie! Oggie! charts our hero’s dramatic conversion from a life of hedonism to becoming one of the most inspirational figures in Christian history.

Stephen is a prolific playwright and theatre-maker, based in Glasgow. He has written extensively on faith-related subjects, from the lives of Saints to Biblical material in new and challenging ways. Often infused with the humour and style of his native city, his plays have been performed widely in local venues and schools around Scotland and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
