Matthew 18: 18-22

18 “Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

19 “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

The Parable of the Unmerciful Servant

21 Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?”

22 Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.

Lord
It feels wonderful
To be accepted and understood
To be given a place at the table and to allow others a place
Head walking keeps your mind on the road
You certainly become a child all over again
It encourages the pilgrim to become pro-active
To think and act in an upside down way
In a Jesus way
To love our enemies
To do good to those who mistreat us
To turn the other cheek
To care for the poor
It is to live out the Jesus principle

Lord,
I don’t mind saying,
it all feels well nigh impossible
But then I meet so many others on the journey
Who are talking with their feet
People on the move
Good news feet
Waving in the air
And you are at the centre of it all
Doing hand stands
Turning everything on its head
Making me smile
And I begin to believe all over again.
