Daily Worship Writer - Albert Bogle on songwriting
We thank Fergus Buchanan for his Daily Worship week and we welcome Albert Bogle who begins Sunday 2 November.
Albert begins our new theme for November Singing Redemption. This month we are exploring the power of song to teach us about and immerse us in our redemption — the central story of our faith — that we are found, recognised, and named and that we belong with God and one another. Through lyric, rhythm, melody, harmony, percussion, timing, and phrasing songs don’t only tell us that we are redeemed, they show us how it feels to be redeemed.
This week Albert writes about songwriting, broken hearts and grace
"Love that absorbs wrong
Love that releases peace
Love that heals a multitude of sins
Love that will not let us go"
You can read all of Albert's prayers in Daily Worship and make sure to check out our free Connect Bible study for Singing Redemption.
