Daily Worship Writer - Albert Bogle on Hope
We thank Norah Summers for her Daily Worship week and we welcome our own Albert Bogle who continues our Autumn theme The Bible: our Library, our Sanctuary beginning on Sunday 4 October.
The Bible is not a book. It’s a place. As we continue our integrated journey — moving from encountering God in the ordinary (Week 1), bringing our tears to Him (Week 2), celebrating in His presence (Week 3), and finding shelter and rest (Week 4) — we arrive at Week 5: A Place to Hope. Across all the genres from Prophets, to Epistles, to Gospels - Scripture presents a seamless, continuous thread: hope as the ultimate catalyst for the renewal of our vision for humanity.
"O Lord,
Come the day when pain and sorrow cease,
Come the day when all will find a place to feast,
Come the day when the greatest will seek the least,
Come the day when all will find their niche."
