We thank Jane Denniston for her Daily Worship week and we welcome Rev Dr Lynn McChlery who continues our Lent theme Come Follow Me beginning Sunday 22 March.
Lynn says "I’m the minister of a vibrant church family in Auchterarder Parish Church and I love the sacred boring and holy ordinary of parish ministry. I like good chocolate and great coffee, long walks, and finding out where people are connecting with God. Off duty, I’ll be reading, visiting the theatre, enjoying meals with friends and travelling the world to trek and cycle in places like Peru, Nepal, Vietnam and lots of Africa."
This week she writes about Lazarus, love and a Labrador.
"Lord Jesus, I wonder again at the depth of your compassion in giving yourself to us. I invite you to come and sit with me in whatever wasteland I find myself today. And give me courage to sit in solidarity with someone who is in pain, not trying to fix them, just to embody your love."
