We thank Albert Bogle for his Daily Worship week and we welcome our own Albert Bogle who continues our Autumn theme The Bible: our Library, our Sanctuary beginning on Sunday 11 October.
Retired in 2021 after 40 years as parish minister in Kirk of Calder, Mid Calder John is now engaged in occasional pulpit supply, and some writing and research. Hobbies include baking and cooking, travel, the theatre, reading, and time with the grandchildren!
The Bible is not a book. It’s a place. It's a place of discovery. The Bible meets us where we are and then invites us to move into an adventure — to discover ourselves through the context of our relationship with God and one another. The Bible is a spiritual platform full of radical paradigm shifts in human understanding of God.
"Thank You that my life is not an accident, but a reflection of Your handiwork. Help me to see myself through Your eyes - worthy of love, value, and belonging."
