Week 87 - Eagle

Hi Everyone !

We'll be starting back in 2024 on Tuesday 16th Jan at 11am - Hope you will join me online ? Why not invite some of your friends to join too if you can ?

We meet every Tuesday morning from 11am to 12.15/12.30pm to draw/paint together.

No experience needed. Complete beginners are very welcome.

Isaiah 40:31 - But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

This week we'll draw an eagle using pencils (pastel or coloured and/or white charcoal pencil)

If you are able to print out the image to have it beside you whilst drawing, hopefully you'll find this helpful on the day. Otherwise, you can perhaps view it on your phone as this will allow you to zoom in on the detail also ?

What you'll need

Dark coloured paper (pastel paper or 800 grit sandpaper would be ideal if using pastels but any paper type will be fine)

Any size of paper will suit but if you're using pastel sticks, the larger the better - perhaps A3

A selection of soft pastel sticks/ pastel pencils / coloured pencils and/or white charcoal pencil

A Pencil to sketch it out

Kitchen paper

How do i join?

The zoom link to join will appear above on this page at 11AM on Tuesdays. To join you will need a phone/tablet or laptop with a built in camera and microphone (most modern devices come with this) you may need to download the zoom app onto your phone if you are using a phone to join.
