Week 86 - Christmas Special - Christmas Card Making

For this Christmas Special Art Connection,  we're going to be making home made Christmas cards and decorating them with Watercolour paints and/or felt pens  (whatever you have is fine)

We normally meet every Tuesday morning from 11am to 12.15/12.30pm to draw/paint together every week, however, or this Christmas special group, we are meeting on a Thursday evening at 7pm

It will be a relaxing time of drawing and painting together. No experience needed. Complete beginners are very welcome.

If you are able to print out the image to have it beside you whilst drawing, hopefully you'll find this helpful on the day. Otherwise, you can perhaps view it on your phone as this will allow you to zoom in on the detail also ?

What you'll need

White or Coloured Card - cut to measure 210 mm x 149mm

(the size of card should fit into whatever envelope size you'll use when folded in half)

OR Blank cards can be upurchased from HOBBYCRAFT, or THE WORKS stores in store or online or AMAZON                               

A selection of watercolour paints / felt pens / coloured pencils

A Pencil to sketch it out and an Eraser and Rule

A selection of Felt pens or Acrylic paint pens

A jar of water

Kitchen paper

Round brushes in medium and fine (for detail)

How do i join?

The zoom link to join will appear above on this page at 11AM on Tuesdays. To join you will need a phone/tablet or laptop with a built in camera and microphone (most modern devices come with this) you may need to download the zoom app onto your phone if you are using a phone to join.
