Week 61 - A lion in pastels

Due to our cancelled art connection on Tues 21st Feb, this week (Tues 28th Feb) we're painting a lion using soft pastel sticks and/or pencils

Join us every Tuesday morning from 11am to 12.15/12.30pm to draw/paint together every week. It will be a time of drawing and painting and conversation. Complete beginners are very welcome.

If you are able to print out the image to have it beside you whilst drawing, hopefully you'll find this helpful on the day. Otherwise, you can perhaps view it on your phone ?

What you'll need

You'll need an eraser and a pencil too to sketch it out

soft pastel sticks in a selection of colours

Pastel paper, Patelmat paper or 100+ ultra fine grit sandpaper in A3 or A4

Pastel pencils if you have them

How do i join?

The zoom link to join will appear above on this page at 11AM on Tuesdays. To join you will need a phone/tablet or laptop with a built in camera and microphone (most modern devices come with this) you may need to download the zoom app onto your phone if you are using a phone to join.
