Art Connection - Week 24

Week 24 - Tuesday 8th Feb 2022 - Mixed media acrylic painting

This week we're going to paint together in mixed media using Acrylic paints to create our own version of a what was a fabulous tutorial in the Life Book 2021 Taster Sessions run by Tamara Laporte and Willowing.org

The Life Book Taster Sessions are free and run annually - the 2022 version will start in September. Look out for it on Facebook or on www.willowing.org

Join us every Tuesday morning from 11am to 12.15/12.30pm to draw/paint together every week. It will be a time of drawing and painting and conversation. Complete beginners are very welcome to join us in creating together.

If you are able to print it out the image to have it beside you whilst drawing, hopefully you'll find this helpful on the day. Otherwise, you can perhaps view it on your phone ?

What you'll need

A selection of Acrylic paints

A largish flat or round brush

1 sheet A4 Mixed Media paper plus 2 sheets of any standard white A4 paper)

A jar of water

A pencil for sketching and an Eraser

Glue (Pritt stick or PVA/paper glue will work) & scissors

How do i join?

The zoom link to join will apear above on this page at 11AM on Tuesdays. To join you will need a phone/tablet or laptop with a built in camera and microphone (most modern devices come with this) you may need to download the zoom app onto your phone if you are using a phone to join.
