John 10: 9-11
I am the gate. Whoever enters by me will be saved, and will come in and go out and find pasture.
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy.
I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.
I am the good shepherd.
The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
Creator God,
Artist and origin,
We rejoice in your gift
of life in all its fullness.
The possibilities and promise
The opportunities and encounters
The touch of our life on another's
And theirs on us
As we journey together.
Redeemer Son,
Lamb and Shepherd
We rejoice in your coming,
your death and resurrection
And the life that gives us,
Eternal and abundant.
May we be encouraged by your example,
Strengthened by your presence,
And sustained by our faith in you
Refreshing Spirit
Midwife and lover,
As part of this community of love
May we be challenged and inspired
That the adventure of life with you
Will continue to surprise and delight us
May we be refreshed, renewed, restored
That our lives become a hymn of praise.
And as we thank you
We rejoice
In all you give us.
