Thirsty

John 7:37

​On the last and greatest day of the festival Jesus stood up and said,

“If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink.

Whoever believes in me, as scripture says,

“Streams of living water shall flow from within him.”

​Jesus said, “if anyone is thirsty”?

I am not thirsty, Lord, so I don’t understand your comment;

I attend a Home Group I can get plenty of tea!

I have a minister who tells me about you!

I have books to read about you!

I hear discussions on the radio about you!

I watch debates on TV about you!

I have even watched films about you!

I just wish that they all told the same story!

“Come to me all who are thirsty”

Lord Jesus you can see,

I am not thirsty, so help me!

I AM DRY!  I AM PARCHED!  I AM ARID!
