SHARING: Encouragement
Acts 4: 36-37
36 There was a Levite, a native of Cyprus, Joseph, to whom the apostles gave the name Barnabas (which means “son of encouragement”). 37 He sold a field that belonged to him, then brought the money, and laid it at the apostles’ feet.
Lord help me see in the fellowship around me those whose lives are a living testimony to your steadfast love, to your Spirit at work within them.
Let me see those like Barnabas who are an encouragement,
who show the way,
who set the pace,
who give generously out of what they have
and lay it before you as an offering.
Lord help me,
reveal to me what I must lay at Your feet and place as an offering out of all you have blessed me with.
Let my life bear witness to your transforming grace
let my life, and the race I run encourage those I run with.
In Christ I pray. Amen.
