John 10:10

The thief comes only in order to steal, kill, and destroy. I have come in order that you might have life—life in all its fullness.

The hymn "Love divine, All loves excelling", contains this line 'pure, unbounded love thou art'.

Lord God, at the beginning of this new day I want to say thank you!
Thank you for what brings me fulfilment in life – family, friendships, my work and my leisure time are only a small fraction of what energises me.
I am blessed with food to eat, fresh water to drink, sports to enjoy, and a home to rest in.
I can read and learn, discuss and debate, campaign and change this world for the better.
But I am also refreshed and renewed every day by the love you have given me.
You have shown me that you love me, despite all the mistakes I make and the decisions that have let you down and taken me on a different path.
You have been my faithful, generous, trusted companion on the journey of life, and I thank you with every fibre of my being for your trust and assurance which comforts and influences me.
As this day begins, I reach out my hand to my best friend, asking for your help and encouragement as I revel in your unbounded love.
