Psalm 145: 10-18

10 All your works shall give thanks to you, O Lord,
    and all your faithful shall bless you.
11 They shall speak of the glory of your kingdom,
    and tell of your power,
12 to make known to all people your mighty deeds,
    and the glorious splendour of your kingdom.
13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
    and your dominion endures throughout all generations.

It just fills me with so much hope, that we can put our differences behind us and all step into the light. The world is an angry place right now with so many groups and factions pitted against each other. All armed with horrific toys for them to play with and to hurt and maim.

Prayer:

Lord let me realise I have the power to make a difference

Fill me with courage to stand for what is right and true

Remind me that although I am but one drop in the ocean 

the ocean would be less for that one drop

Let know that I am loved and understood

So I can love and understand in my turn 

And fill me with hope for the future

Let me focus on your light so that I might see it clearly.
