Matthew 10: 17-19
On my account you will be brought before governors and kings as witnesses to them and to the Gentiles. But when they arrest you, do not worry about what to say or how to say it. At that time you will be given what to say.
My God, sometimes words fail me;
My mouth closes,
My mind freezes,
My tongue knots.
Help me to be open to your spirit;
To allow you
To untangle my tongue,
To open my mouth,
To release my thoughts,
That your words might fill my mouth,
Your thoughts might fuel my speech,
Your compassion and strength might nourish my deeds,
That my witness might bring glory to you.
