Ephesians 4: 1-3
As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.
Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.
Dear Lord, whose love sustains the great crowd and every soul within it,
we ask that today’s Big Match may be played with skill, strength and sportsmanship,
that no one will be hurt in body or embittered in mind,
and that rival fans may come together in good humour and go home in peace,
In the name of the Lord Jesus, the Prince of Peace.
