Let Me Live in Your Working Life Story

This week as we think about our places of work and perhaps our attitudes to work and those we serve.. We all need to ask ourselves are we working as though Jesus was part of our work story?
One of my favourite Bible passages is found in Ephesians chapter 2.10 in this section of his epistle the apostle Paul writes, “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do”. For me this all makes sense.
I believe there is a restlessness in all our hearts. We all have a feeling that we were made to achieve more than we are doing. In fact most of us want to fulfil this longing. It feels like the itch that needs to be scratched, the sneeze that needs to be sneezed. The phone call that needs to be made. It’s the call of God that will not go away. It’s time to break out and start living life as it has been planned for you.
We all have a story to live. Today is the day to inviting Jesus into your story to walk with you and live in it. To guide you to complete the tasks that have been written against your name. It’s such an exciting prospect. Go for it!
Lord, walk with me into your story
And I will walk with you into mine
Your presence will cast out all my fears
And restore my sense of peace and belonging
Walk with me and change
My heart
My will
My view
Lord walk with me into my story
Lord, walk with me into your story
And I will walk with you into mine
And discovery the sanctuary and meaning for which i am longing.
