Heavenly Feast

With Easter on the way, we look at the way the church celebrates. Our monthly theme is concerned that we have becomestifled in the way that we celebrate, we look at how the community in Israel was commanded to celebrate in the Bible, their celebration was to serve as a witness to the nations around them. Look with us at the passover meal and the symbolism of the four cups used during the meal. We look at each of these cups in turn in our weekly prayers, Albert Bogle has written week 1 -God will bring us out, he brings us so that we may worship him.Robert Craig writes Week 2 - God will Deliver at passover from the current plight. The focus is on the freedom from our experiences, we’ll never regret what we’ve left behind. Stuart Murdoch writes Week 3 - God will redeem, he will buy back what we have lost and give a greater rewardand in Week 4 - God will take, and build into a people for himself.
