We thank Dan Harper for his Daily Worship week and we welcome Derek Munn who continues our Lent theme Come Follow Me beginning Sunday 22 February.
Derek says "I am an ordained local minister, serving as locum at Drylaw Parish Church in Edinburgh. I am marrried to Fiona and we have a grown up son and a not so grown up cocker spaniel called Fanta. I love reading golden age crime novels and feel in my own mind that I could do quite well on Mastermind with Agatha Christie as my specialist subject!"
This week Derek writes about wildernesses, humility, and the sometimes surprising simplicity of Jesus's call in our lives.
"Strengthen my heart to choose what is good, even when it’s hard, and guide me to rest in the truth that I don’t have to prove myself to anyone — because I already belong to You."
