Week 63 - A girl in mono

This week we're sketching in pencil another girl, focussing on getting the face shape & shadows strong and accurate

The image is from Unsplash but converted to mono for our purposes.

Join us every Tuesday morning from 11am to 12.15/12.30pm to draw/paint together every week. It will be a time of drawing and painting and conversation. Complete beginners are very welcome.

If you are able to print out the image to have it beside you whilst drawing, hopefully you'll find this helpful on the day. Otherwise, you can perhaps view it on your phone ?

What you'll need

You'll need an eraser and a pencil to sketch it out & an eraser

A sketching pencil (HB, 4B, 6B, 8B), the softer the better (the higher B number)

Smooth good quality paper of any size - A5, A4

How do i join?

The zoom link to join will appear above on this page at 11AM on Tuesdays. To join you will need a phone/tablet or laptop with a built in camera and microphone (most modern devices come with this) you may need to download the zoom app onto your phone if you are using a phone to join.
