Week 41 - Another study on Amadeo Modigliani

This week in our group we're going to take the same image as last week, and sketch it out then pant it in Acrylic paints.

Please PRE-sketch it with light pencil if you can beforehand so we have plenty time to do the painting.

This will be our last week for the summer holiday 2022, and we will return in August.

Join us every Tuesday morning from 11am to 12.15/12.30pm to draw/paint together every week. It will be a time of drawing and painting and conversation. Complete beginners are very welcome.

If you are able to print out the image to have it beside you whilst drawing, hopefully you'll find this helpful on the day. Otherwise, you can perhaps view it on your phone ?

What you'll need

A rule and eraser and pencil for sketching

Good quality Acrylic or Mixed Media paper in A4 or A3 as you prefer

A selection of Acrylic paints

A jar of water and a selection of flat brushes

Kitchen paper for wiping brushes

How do i join?

The zoom link to join will apear above on this page at 11AM on Tuesdays. To join you will need a phone/tablet or laptop with a built in camera and microphone (most modern devices come with this) you may need to download the zoom app onto your phone if you are using a phone to join.
