Week 105 - Sunflowers in Acrylic paint

Hello Everyone

Hope you will join me online this week for some art where we'll work on using acrylic paints to create vibrant sunflowers

We meet every Tuesday morning from 11am to 12.15pm to draw/paint together. No experience needed. Complete beginners are very welcome.

This week we'll paint some fabulous sunflowers using acrylic paints

If you're able to pre-sketch where the house & fence will appear on your painting, that'll give us a head start but don't worry if you don't manage to do so.

If you are able to print out the image to have it beside you whilst drawing, hopefully you'll find this helpful on the day. Otherwise, you can perhaps view it on your phone as this will allow you to zoom in on the detail also ?

What you'll need

Strong  Paper suitable for acrylic paint

Sticky tape (decorators masking tape is best) to hold the paper down to your desk/table

Any size of paper (A3 will be great) or canvas

A selection of acrylic paints or poster paints

A Pencil and an eraser to loosly sketch it out

Kitchen paper to clean brush on

A large and medium flat brush and a fine pointed brush for detail

Jar of water

How do i join?

The zoom link to join will appear above on this page at 11AM on Tuesdays. To join you will need a phone/tablet or laptop with a built in camera and microphone (most modern devices come with this) you may need to download the zoom app onto your phone if you are using a phone to join.
