Romans 8:5-6

Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. (Romans 8:5-6)

The kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17)

Lord, I thank you for the gift of peace
in the Holy Spirit of peace

Thanks for assurance
in my doubts.
Thanks for wholeness
in my brokenness.
Thanks for well-being
in my dis-ease.
Thanks for healing

Today I resolve
to enjoy your peace,
to display it
not to hide it,
to share it
not keep it to myself,
to offer it
not hoard it.
