Psalms 119:105
Your word is a lamp to my feet
and a light to my path.
Promises, promises,
so many promises...
Yet following different leads
brings so little fulfilment.
How can we make good choices?
And how can we know
that we're on the right track,
especially when rewards
are not what we imagined
or envisaged?
How can we find a way
through the maze of options?
God, give us your light.
Show us what is real and lasting
and help us to navigate the course
that leads us back to you.
