She gave it all

Luke 8:37-38

‘When a woman who had lived a sinful life in that town learned that Jesus was eating at the Pharisee’s house she brought an alabaster jar of perfume, and she stood behind him at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears. Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them and poured perfume on them.”

Outrageous! I love this woman Lord
She inspires me to be an extravagant worshipper
She saw only you, and
Knew absolutely the joy of forgiveness, truth and acceptance

Her worship was received and praised for all time
But scorned and ridiculed by those who should have known better
I know whose praise I would rather have
Fragrant, holding nothing back, she gave it all

Help us worship you like this
Not fearing man but pleasing God
To worship in Spirit and in Truth
Through mountain top and valley
To proclaim ‘How Great is our God’
There is none like Thee!

Behold the Lamb of God
Who takes away the sin of the world.
O come let us adore him
We’ll give him all the glory
For He alone is worthy
Christ the Lord!
