SHARING: Testify to the Resurrection

Acts 3: 33-35

33 With great power the apostles gave their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all. 34 There was not a needy person among them, for as many as owned lands or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold. 35 They laid it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to each as any had need.

Lord we confess that we know so little of your power
and the immensity of grace among us at times.
We get caught by threat, overwhelmed by anxiety or fear,
our sight is too short and we become deaf to the voice of your Holy Spirit. 
There are many real needs and hardships these days.
Come upon us, fill us with grace and power
so that in our sharing we bear witness to the resurrected life at work in and through us.
Help us to distribute wisely and generously in our own day,
trusting in a different economy out of your provision through us.
In Jesus name. Amen.
