Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

Seeking God
You go seeking 
The lost
May our paths cross today.
Recognise me
Speak to me
In my loneliness and arrogance
My life needs a new direction.
I live continually seeking
Searching to find my true self
I move from faith to doubt
From doubt to anxiety
I pretend all is well
I search in the darkness
Looking for my own image
I panic
I look inwards
My eyes are upon myself
I become obsessed with,
my looks,
my feelings,
my sexuality,
my identity,
my relationships,
my future,
my mortality
Forgive me
Help me turn my eyes outwards
to see
to feel
to connect 
with Your glance
Your words
Your touch
Your voice
Give me the courage to surrender to your will
For then
I will know and be known
And found
