Remind me who who You are.
Exodus 3:16-18
“Now go and call together all the elders of Israel. Tell them, ‘The Lord, the God of your ancestors—the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—has appeared to me. He told me, “I have been watching closely, and I see how the Egyptians are treating you. I have promised to rescue you from your oppression in Egypt. I will lead you to a land flowing with milk and honey—the land where the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites now live.”’
“The elders of Israel will accept your message. Then you and the elders must go to the king of Egypt and tell him, ‘The Lord, the God of the Hebrews, has met with us. So please let us take a three-day journey into the wilderness to offer sacrifices to the Lord, our God. ’
Lord, You see it all.
You know all things, You know our hearts and our thoughts; the situations around us in the deepest intricacy. Nothing is hidden from You, Omniscient One.
You are the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. You are the beginning and the end. In You, all things have their being.
You spoke, and there was light. You stepped into the darkness and brought life - life in all its fullness. You are Creator, Sustainer, Everlasting, Holy, Just, High King over all. All knowing. All powerful. All present. And we worship You.
And when You call, You reveal to us Your heart. You don't leave us in doubt. You have spoken and will speak. You are bringing Your Kingdom on earth as in heaven. You are bringing this about and we get to participate.
Your will be done. Yours be all the honour and the glory.
