Rejoice in the Lord

Philippians 3:1

Finally my brothers, rejoice in the Lord! 
It is no trouble for me to write the same things to you again and again, and it is a safeguard for you.

Father how good it is to be reminded again and again that we should rejoice.  
Even on the darkest days,
when the clouds of life are low
and hide the brightness of hope
there is so much which should remind us of your great goodness.  
We shouldn't need to be reminded
but we are so good at seeing problems rather than opportunities.  
Help us to see the rainbow and not the rain.  
Help us to hear the bird song and not the traffic.  
Help us to appreciate what we have and not envy others.  
The road through life is hard enough without creating potholes.  
Help us to be thankful that there is a road.

As we journey on may we travel with a heart full of joy knowing you journey with us.
