Passing on the Good News
Hebrews 11: 1 – 2; 24 –25
Faith makes us sure of what we hope for and gives us proof of what we cannot see.
By faith Moses, when he was grown up,
refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter,
choosing rather to share the ill-treatment with the people of God
than to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin. “By faith Moses, when he was grown up ...”
Answered the Call of God and went back to Egypt.
Lord, when are we grown up?
We hear You say, “Go, therefore and make disciples ...”
We know our parents have encouraged us about You.
We know our Sunday School has taught us stories of You.
We listen to Sunday Worship and teaching.
We study in Home Groups.
If we know so much - why are we so argumentative with You?
“Lord, I can’t share, I don’t know my Bible!”
“I can’t pray, I might say the wrong thing!”
“I can’t ... I am not good enough!”
Father God, grow our faith in You as we pass on the Good News of Jesus
and to believe You when You say!
“You are my witnesses, and my servant whom I have chosen,
that you may know and believe me
and understand that I AM He.” (Isaiah 43;10)
Now, Lord, teach us that with You by our side – WE ARE READY!
