Amos 5:8
He who made the Pleiades and Orion, and turns deep darkness into the morning and darkens the day into
night, who calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out on the surface of the earth, the Lord is his
name;
Lord of connected things.
Quantum strings, tying us together, to rock, tree and branch
vibrating to your song
The last leaf on the tree, struggling and flickering in the wind
Veins dried , used up
Clinging on
and you cause a butterfly to flap its wings a world away
and in the leaf, a vibration in the tip, the margin then the stalk
a loosening at the axil
to let if fly free
unfettered into the air
and how much more precious are we than these.
