Psalm 139:13-14
“...You knit me together in my mother’s womb… I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”
How shockingly the glory fades
and such creative wonders become faceless statistics,
demonised as enemies, despised as worthless, shunned as outcasts.
So refresh my appreciation and respect for the work of your hands
that I see the intrinsic dignity in every creature,
including the one whose form I inhabit!
