Isaiah 44:22
I have swept away your offenses like a cloud,
your sins like the morning mist.
Return to me,
for I have redeemed you.”
Do I really believe in redemption? Can wrongs be made right? If I believe this how will it change my world view? Redemption is truly a hope filled word.
Lent Disciplines
Look up and watch the clouds (or if it is a bright blue day without clouds [lucky you] you’ll have to remember some). Imagine they represent the things that are worrying you, the guilt or shame or hurt you might feel. Then watch as they slowly move away. All rainclouds eventually burst bringing rejuvenating rain.
