Theme: Clutching at Straws: Grace

It's the first Sunday of Advent and we begin our new theme The Last Straw. Christmas can sometimes feel like a lot can't it! Coming at the end of the year, it’s cold and dark and then there’s all this expense and faff... But this year as we gather together we are going to rediscover that ‘the last straw’ of the nativity is not the end of something, but only the beginning. For the last straw is that wee handful of straw that held the baby Jesus!
